Slovenian Advertising, PR, Marketing, Transcreation and Translation
We work with a lot of creative marketing and advertising companies providing Slovenian language versions of adverts, strap lines/end lines, tag lines, concepts, posters, brochures, slogans, online content, tv scripts and radio scripts. Our task is to deliver the message irrespective of language and culture.
Slovenian translation of advertising, PR and marketing material
If required, our specialist Slovenian translators can provide a faithful translation of the original source copy. During this process, the linguists will of course take into account localisation and cultural factors to ensure the material is just as appropriate to its new audience as it was to its original audience.
Our Slovenian translators’ experience in this sector means you will be able to use marketing material that’s as effective in the target language as it is in the original language.
Slovenian transcreation of advertising, PR and marketing material
Transcreation is the creative adaption of copy in the target language, so the text will be completely re-written in a foreign language. We have a team of Slovenian copywriters specialising in transcreation and adaption working in over 100 markets.
As part of the process, it will be important for us to understand your communication objectives as the meaning of the original message may change in the Slovenian language version, but the persuasive effect must remain as forceful.
Unless otherwise instructed, all Slovenian transcreations are reviewed by another linguist, and are back-translated. Any number of draft versions can be supplied for your feedback and comments until we get it just right.
Slovenian brand name linguistic analysis
Because some brand names and slogans have unexpected cultural connotations, we also have an experienced team of Slovenian brand checking analysts. They can ensure your logo or slogan will not be misinterpreted.

WHILE YOU’RE HERE... SOME QUITE INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT THE Slovenian LANGUAGE
The small number of people speaking Slovene makes it almost a secret language. It is a native language to approximately 2.1 million people and is spoken by Slovenian minorities in the bordering countries of Italy, Croatia, Hungary, and Austria. As a result of a migration at the beginning of the twentieth century Slovene can also be heard in Ohio, USA. After WWII, many Slovenians left their home country and moved to Argentina, so the Slovenian language is also present in South America. Other countries with Slovenian speaking minorities are Serbia, Canada, Australia and South Africa. On account of only 2.3 million people speaking the language, the 46 dialects of Slovenian language, often classifies Slovene as the most diverse Slavic Language. Slovenian dialects are categorized into seven regional groups: Carinthian, Upper Carniolan, Lower Carniolan, Littoral, Rovte, Styrian, and Pannonian. Sometimes dialects can be so different from one another, that it is hard for people from different parts of Slovenia to understand each other.
