African language transcription service for documentaries

With anywhere between 1000 and 2000 languages, Africa is home to approximately one-third of the world’s languages. Our project management team prides itself on being able to handle the rarest of African languages, and to date, we have not been defeated by an African language transcription request.

There are lots of amazing African documentaries out there to watch and we are lucky to have been involved in many of them. After filming and conducting interviews in various African countries, documentary-makers and tv production companies get in touch with us to request a transcription and/or translation service so they know what has been said. So that particular sections of interest can easily be identified, we generally provide time stamps at regular intervals. The time-code markers can be as infrequent as every minute, or as often as every sentence, just depending on what our clients need. We can even provide subtitles in SRT or other industry standard formats.
