Our German transcription service for academic research is regularly called upon by students and researchers from the University of London. Working from either video or audio, our German transcribers and typists can either produce a same language transcript or a direct translation from German into English.
The University of London has close ties with Germany. Currently the university has over 700 students in Germany studying for a range of University of London’s qualifications. Their flexible programmes allow German students to fit their studies around their work and family life, and to study from over 180 countries in the world.
We worked closely with a research student who was involved in a fascinating investigation into the effects of immigration on Germany. She had conducted a series of interviews in the streets and parks of Berlin with asylum seekers and other refugees, mainly from Syria. The interviews were conducted in a mixture of German, Arabic and English. The research student needed the transcripts to be presented entirely in English, so we had a team of English typists and German and Arabic linguists to complete the work. Our research student was very happy with the end result – “Thank you so much. I can’t believe how quickly and accurately your team completed the work. I will definitely recommend your company to my colleagues.”
