Translations of adverts, websites & press releases

Hero Curve Element
translations of adverts, websites, press releases, market research

We work for a large number of advertising, PR and marketing companies completing translations of adverts, websites, press releases, market research and other documents and digital material. We also provide this service in over 150 languages directly to businesses and organisations all over the world.

We are often asked whether the translated version will take up more space than the original English. The simple answer is yes and no – it depends. Some languages take up more space, some more-or-less the same, and some less. We hope these few examples might be useful.

English original versus Hebrew translation – Hebrew tends to be shorter by about a third
English original versus Spanish translation – Spanish tends to be longer by about a quarter
English original versus Portuguese translation – Portuguese longer by about a quarter
English original versus French translation – French tends to be longer by about a quarter
English original versus Scandinavian translations – About the same
English original versus Chinese translation – Chinese tends to be shorter by about a third
