The number of clients regularly contracting English transcription services from us has risen every month since the start of the year, and our existing team have been working flat out to meet the demand. With a number of universities now coming on board, we could definitely do with some extra help.
We are looking for English transcribers able to cover a wide range of disciplines: medical, business, finance, academic, oral histories, market research etc. If you are already an experienced transcriber, then you know what to expect. If you are just starting out, we’d still like to hear from you.
You would be working for us on a freelance basis, and so would need a quiet room in your house in which to work, your own pc, headphones and ideally a foot pedal. Accuracy is paramount, as is very good written English, spelling and grammar skills. In order to meet the sometimes challenging deadlines, you also need to be a fast typist!
