We’re receiving more and more requests for voice-overs recorded in foreign languages. While the majority of requests are for European languages, we also receive enquiries about voice-overs in both Asian and East Asian languages.
We receive a really diverse range of voice-over requests. Many clients come to us with promotional videos, which will have French, Italian, Spanish and/or German voice-overs added, to help sell a product to a global market. At other times, we receive requests for Bengali or sometimes Hindi voice-overs for independent films. Whatever the language, we have a team of VO artists on-hand to help. And since this is the 21st century, our VO artists are based literally all-over the world.
Our team of VO artists operate from multiple territories. Whereas some years ago, the artists would need to travel to a recording studio and work with engineers to produce their final recording, an increasing number of VO artists now operate from sophisticated home studios. With 21st century technology it’s now possible to produce production quality VOs and edit and synchronise them, without travelling at all.
So in many situations we are able to finalise the VOs and supply them as audio (usually in MP3 or WAV) with nobody travelling anywhere – and with an increasing number of requests for voice-over services, this trend looks set to continue for the foreseeable future.
